Who this policy is from
This website is operated by Steven Kjol. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
What the contact form collects
When you use the contact form, the site collects the name, email address, phone number, area of interest and message you type into it. That information is emailed straight to Steve.kjol@gmail.com and a copy is kept on this website so an enquiry is never lost to a bounced email. Your IP address is not stored with the enquiry.
What it is used for
Only to reply to you and to help with the buying, selling, lending or investment question you asked about. Your details are never sold, rented or traded, and they are not shared with advertisers or data brokers. Information is shared with other people only where it is genuinely needed to progress a transaction you have asked for — for example a lender, title company or brokerage — or where the law requires it.
Analytics
No third-party analytics or advertising trackers are currently running on this site.
Cookies
This site sets a small cookie to remember your privacy choice so you are not asked again, and a session cookie if you sign into the admin area. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can opt out of analytics at any time using the button on this page — the choice is remembered for a year. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, this site treats that as an opt-out automatically, without you having to click anything.
Your rights over your information
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted entirely. Just email Steve.kjol@gmail.com or call 832-477-2052 and say what you would like. There is no charge and no form to fill in. Depending on where you live you may also have a formal right to these things under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the GDPR — this site aims to honour such requests regardless of where you are.
How long information is kept
Enquiries submitted through the website are automatically deleted after 365 days unless you have become a client, in which case records are kept for as long as professional and legal obligations require.
Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection, administrator passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and access to stored enquiries is limited to signed-in staff. No website can promise perfect security, but the data held here is deliberately kept to a minimum.
Children
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
